28^th April 2024-Kenneth Kaunda Day. The day is observed annually dedicated to remembering Zambia’s founding President Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda. The 2024 Kenneth Kaunda Day is under the theme “KK@100” marking the centenary birthday of Dr. Kaunda.

 

1^st May 2024-International Labor Day, this day is commemorated globally on 1 May to pay tribute to the contribution of workers. It spreads awareness about workers’ rights and also recognizes their accomplishments.  This year’s Labor Day will be commemorated under the theme “Building Resilience; Workers at the Heart of Zambia’s Economic Recovery”.

 

25^th May 2024-Africa Freedom Day. This Day is commemorated annually on 25^th May, in recognition of the vision and milestone achieved towards “An Integrated, Prosperous and Peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in the global arena.

 

June 23^rd 2024-Africa Public Service Day- This day intends to celebrate the value and virtue of public service to the community; highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognize the work of public servants, and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector. 

 

26^th June to 2^nd July 2024-The 58^th Zambia International Trade Fair is an industrial, commercial and Agricultural exhibition held in Ndola annually. This year’s Fair will be held under the theme “Unlocking Economic Potential through collaboration and Partnerships”.
