PSPF HOSTS PUPILS FROM KAUNDA SQUARE SECONDARY SCHOOL AS PART OF 2024 PENSIONS AWARENESS WEEK ACTIVI

On November 6, 2024, the Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) hosted pupils from Kaunda Square Secondary School for an educational tour as part of Pensions Awareness Week activities, being held from 4 to 9 November under the theme "Empower Your Future: Dignify your retirement with Pension."

The pupils, from grades 9, 10, and 11, were accompanied by their teacher, Mr. Bannety Hamangaba. They toured various departments, including Pension Administration and Investments, where they gained insights into the operations of the Fund and its investments.

Through presentations, the pupils learned that a pension fund does more than managing pensions as it also strategically invests in projects to grow the funds for its members.

As part of the tour, the pupils also visited KK Mall on Alick Nkhata road in Lusaka, a flagship investment of the Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF).

This experience left a strong impression, as the pupils expressed their gratitude to PSPF for introducing them to the world of pensions and showing them that retirement planning is not only for the distant future but something that begins when one is employed.
