PSPF LAUDS PARTNER SUPPORT IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY
The
Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) says it is gratified with the good response
from its partners over its digital transformation agenda which is anchored on
the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.
PSPF
Director of Pension Administration, Ms. Sampa Barbara Kangwa says the Fund has
made substantial progress in digitizing processes and integrating systems with
partner organizations enabling seamless exchange of information and easy access
to services for members and pensioners.
Speaking
during the handover of a scanner to the Immigration Department in Lusaka, Ms.
Sampa commended the cooperation from the Department, which has been crucial in
overcoming challenges in the ongoing transition from manual to digital systems.
Ms.
Sampa highlighted that the Fund has successfully integrated its systems with
two partners so far and plans to expand this collaboration to additional
partners in 2025 to further streamline pension-related processes.
And
receiving the scanner, Immigration Department Director General Dr. Japhet
Lishomwa expressed gratitude to PSPF for the support, affirming the
department’s commitment to the digital transformation journey.
He
noted that digitizing files would help address the backlog of pension files for
retired officers adding that PSPF’s digital initiatives, including the scanner
donation, are an essential boost to the department’s own reform program aimed
at achieving full digitization.
