PRESIDENT DUMA BOKO GRACES 97TH ZAMBIA AGRICULTURAL AND COMMERCIAL SHOW
President
of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko, on August 2nd, 2025, officially
opened the 97th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show, held from
July 30 to August 4 under the theme “Adapting to Climate Change.”
President
Boko was accompanied by his Zambian counterpart and Patron of the Show Society,
His Excellency Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.
In
his keynote address, President Boko emphasized the strong bilateral cooperation
between Botswana and Zambia, particularly in advancing export-oriented
agricultural economies. He underscored the importance of pioneering
regenerative and inclusive economic growth in the face of climate change.
President
Hichilema expressed his gratitude to President Boko for honoring the invitation
and gracing the 2025 Agricultural and Commercial Show with his presence.
This
year’s show has drawn over 1,900 exhibitors from 24 countries, highlighting its
growing regional and international significance.
Among
the exhibitors is the Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF), which is showcasing
a range of services including pension services, investments and various digital
platforms that have significantly improved access to services for members and
Pensioners.
These
platforms include the e-PSPF, Mobile App, USSD, WhatsApp self-service line, and
a dedicated contact centre.
