PSPF HOSTS ESWATINI DELEGATION ON A BENCHMARKING TOUR OF THE INSTITUTION.

THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF ESWATINI IS IN THE PROCESS OF CONVERTING THEIR NATIONAL PROVIDENT FUND INTO A NATIONAL PENSION FUND.

PSPF HOSTS ESWATINI DELEGATION ON A BENCHMARKING TOUR OF THE INSTITUTION.

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) Zambia is honoured to have hosted the Eswatini Minister of Public Service, Honourable Mabulala Maseko, and his delegation on 15th July 2024, who were on a benchmarking tour of the institution.

The Honourable Minister was accompanied by PSPF Eswatini Board Chairman Mr. Sammy Dlamini, Members of Parliament Hon. Manzi Zwane, Senator Zabeni Shiba, Senator Lizzie Nkosi, and Hon. Bonginkosi Dube. Also in attendance were Mr. Bathandwa Hlatshwayo, a Board Member, and Director of Operations Mr. Jethro Ndlangamandla.

The team visited PSPF Zambia to learn from our experience in establishing a national pension fund, as the government of the Kingdom of Eswatini is in the process of converting their National Provident Fund into a National Pension Fund.

During a meeting held at the Southern Sun Hotel in Lusaka, the delegation was welcomed by PSPF Zambia Board Chairman Mr. John Kasanga, who was accompanied by Board Members Mr. Nicholas Kabaso, Mr. Makai Makai and Mrs. Musonda Ulaya, as well as our Chief Executive Officer Mr. Francis Pindani Nyirenda.

Additional members of the PSPF team included Director of Pension Administration Ms. Sampa B. Kangwa, Director of Investments Mrs. Chola Kunda, Acting Director of Finance Mr. Kingsley Kabuta, and Manager Board Services Mrs. Vaida Njobvu.

In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Kasanga expressed his pleasure in hosting the delegation.
