Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) is a funded benefits pension scheme created by CAP 260 of the Laws of Zambia, Act Number 35 of 1996. The PSPF provides pension benefits to retired public servants and survivors of deceased estates. It’s membership is drawn from the Teaching Service, Judiciary Service, Police and Prisons, Defense Forces, Civil Service, Zambia Security and Intelligence Service. Apart from administering pension benefits, other core functions of PSPF are to administer a home ownership scheme for members and to engage in lucrative business practices that are in the best interest of members.

sam-11aThe problem of clients travelling long distances at a cost to seek pension services at Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) has finally been put. PSPF has completed the completed the decentralization exercise which started in 2008. October 28 was another big day on the calendar of PSPF. This was the day when PSPF concluded decentralizing pension services to six more in the country namely Livingstone, Mansa, Kabwe, Solwezi, Choma and Ndola.
